At ECNV, we are staying up-to-date on the latest information regarding the 2019 Novel Coronavirus by following local, state and federal guidelines. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyday actions to help PREVENT the spread of respiratory viruses. ECNV is following all protocols to keep our staff and patients safe:
Adhering to the rigorous patient safety standards recommended by the CDC , Virginia Health Department and the American Academy of Ophthalmology
Providing appropriate PPE and masks to all staff members
Asking that all patients wear a mask to eye appointments
Adjusting workflows to allow for spatial distancing in the office
Asking that all patients limit family members to 1 or less
Checking temperatures on arrival of staff and patients
Sanitizing and disinfecting common areas, work areas and exam lanes routinely throughout the day and after every patient
Sanitizing eye wear in the Optical Shop after every fitting
Sanitizing iPads before every patient check in
Installed clear protective screens at all our front desk stations
We are not seeing those sick with fever, cough, respiratory symptoms or exposure to COVID-19. Please contact your primary care doctor, local health department or nearest emergency department for proper testing and treatment.
