Michael H. Goldberg, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in anterior segment surgery including cataract/implant surgery. He has performed over 25,000 cataract surgeries and has extensive experience in refractive cataract surgery with advanced technology intraocular lenses as well as other advanced refractive options. He has been one of the leading surgeons in the Northern Virginia area in refractive surgery for over 30 years.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, he is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine. After an internship in Internal Medicine, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Goldberg has been voted one of the Washingtonian Magazine Top Doctors multiple times and was voted a Northern Virginia Magazine Top Doctor. He participates in a preceptorship program for medical students ophthalmology clinical rotations. In his spare time, Dr. Goldberg enjoys tennis, hiking and travel.
